Welcome message
On behalf of the organizing committee, I am honored to welcome you to “The 11th Biennial Meeting of the Society for Free Radical Research-Asia (SFRR-Asia) and the Chinese National Conference of Redox Biology and Medicine 2024” that will be held in Beijing, China from Oct. 21 to 23, 2024.
After two decades of ten past SFRR-Asia biennial meetings, we are marching into a new era to explore redox biology and medicine at precision, mechanistic, and in vivo levels with innovative technology and multiple discipline collaborations. The coming SFRR-Asia 2024, with the theme “The new era of precision redox biology and medicine: from basic research to the intervention of aging and diseases,” will provide a great opportunity to embrace the updates on state-of-the-art research in the field. There will be broad topics concerning three aspects: Basic research on redox biology and medicine, redox homeostasis in aging and diseases, and precision redox intervention and health management. The scientific program will include diverse communications: cutting-edge technology workshops, plenary lectures, invited lectures, oral presentations (some selected from the submitted abstracts), flash talks, poster presentations, meet the editors, industry-academy communication, redox future perspective forum. It’s exciting that the Young Investigators Awards (YIA) and Outstanding Poster Presentation Awards will be selected.
I sincerely invite you to join the 11th SFRR-Asia biennial meeting and hope every participant will benefit from this meeting in exchanging ideas, stimulating collaboration, developing friendships, and enjoy Chinese culture and exciting sightseeing in Beijing. Wish the 11th SFRR-Asia a remarkable start for the next two decades. I look forward to welcoming you in Beijing in October.

Conference Features
1.Redox Future Perspective Forum
This conference will inaugurate the "Redox Future Perspective Forum," inviting numerous renowned experts in the redox field from both international and domestic spheres. The forum aims to explore the future development directions of redox biology and medicine, fostering international collaboration.
2.Early Career Researcher Section
The conference will feature an "Early Career Researcher Section," dedicated to creating a platform for young researchers to engage in extensive exchanges and interactions.
The conference will invite senior editors from Elsevier to discuss how to successfully write articles, handle peer review comments, and conduct reviews. The discussion will also cover topics of general interest, such as dealing with artificial intelligence in scientific writing and considering ethical integrity during the publication process.
4.Frontier Interdisciplinary Technology Lectures
The conference will invite experts in frontier technology fields, such as organoids and spatial genomics, to deliver lectures on interdisciplinary technology. These lectures aim to promote the application of innovative technological methods in redox biology and medicine.
5.Young Investigator Awards (YIA)
1. "SFRR Asia Young Investigator Award"
2. "Taylor & Francis Young Investigator Award"
3. "Taylor & Francis Prestigious Poster Award"
4. "Taylor & Francis Travel Award for Young Scientists of SFRR Asia"
6.Extensive Presentation Opportunities: 40+ Oral Presentations & 60+ Flash Talks (*Note: The presentation language is English)
The conference will select over 40 young researchers for oral presentations and over 60 young scholars for flash talk presentations (5min). This initiative aims to provide a platform for the young generation to voice their ideas and showcase their talents at an international conference.Excellent Flash Talk will be commended at the conference banquet.
7.Outstanding Posters
